Clubs
I ran a club in all three of my middle school years. Leading clubs helped me develop responsibility and gain confidence in my speaking abilities. I was also able to contribute positively to my community.

6th Grade - The Calligraphy ClubThe Calligraphy Club was the first club I ran. It was among the larger clubs at my school, with around 20 members. Some notable achievements include donating cards to a local hospital and creating posters for the school dance.

7th Grade - Doodles for HappinessI ran the Doodles for Happiness Club during online school, so I taught my club members making use of slideshows and digital demonstrations. The club was named Doodles for Happiness because we focused on using art to make a difference, sending cards to organizations that distributed them to hospitalized individuals.

8th Grade - Video EditingIn eighth grade, I ran the Video Editing Club. Because it is a slightly more complicated topic, it required more focused teaching. Leading this club often required more effort and planning. This gave me a greater sense of responsibility and challenged me to be more involved in my club.

More Leadership
I participated in student council for three years (third grade to fifth grade) which helped me get involved with my school community even at a young age. I have also played important and large roles in multiple school theater productions, which required significant responsibility and leadership skills.
